The Certified Transport Specialist (CTS) is the nation’s first nationally accredited program for the NEMT professional. The curriculum covers a broad range of topics (within 18 modules) and provides the NEMT driver the knowledge and professional skills to deliver exceptional transportation services safely.

Upon completion of the CTS course, the NEMT professional will be nationally certified for two years. And, will be able to highlight their accomplishment by proudly displaying their CTS patch on their uniform and CTS decal on their vehicle.
CERTIFIED STRETCHER OPERATOR TM
The handling and movement of passengers using a stretcher poses an inherent risk to both passenger and provider due to potential mechanical failures or unsafe practices by the operator. As a NEMT professional who provides stretcher services, understanding the operations of a stretcher is critical to the health and safety of the passenger and stretcher operator.
The course is divided up into 2 distinct segments, online and hands on-training.

Upon completion of NEMTAC’s nationally accredited stretcher course, participants will be certified for 2 years in NEMT Stretcher Operations. Students will receive their Certified Stretcher Operator (CSO) certificate only after completion of both online and hands-on sessions of the course.
